Hello! We’ve missed you!!! This is our last and final e mail and we are so happy to announce that we are finally reopening September 8th and can’t wait to get up and running again. Its been quite a ride these past few months! We have heard that many people have moved out of NY due to our current situation we are experiencing. If you happen to be one of them, we will miss seeing you and wish you the best. Just know that we will still be in Brooklyn when you plan to come bac...k or just visiting. Concerning our reopening, please note that we are following the state of NYS mandatory guidelines: -If you have an upcoming appointment, please arrive at the time of your appointment so there is no overlap between you and the next client. -we operate by appointment only, and only that parent and child will be allowed in the salon during your service. -if you or your child are experiencing covid symptoms (fever, cough, and shortness of breath) or other symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. It’s for the health and safety of everyone. -Please let us know if you have recently traveled outside NY. -we will provide hand sanitizer upon entry. -everyone must have a proper face mask covering the mouth and nose. We understand that children 2 and under may not tolerate a maskwe will work around it. -please keep your distance of 6 feet apart. We understand that some children require their parent or caregiver to be near them during an appointmentagain, we will work around that! -we will implement touch-less payment or pay ahead options. For your health and safety, we want to ensure you that we will be taking all cleaning measures by disinfecting our equipment and stations before and after each client. Also, as many of you know, we allow children to play with our toys while waiting for their sibling. Those toys will be put in a designated bin to be disinfected after each use. Hello Rockin’ Locks family! We hope your family is well and safely getting through day by day with all the concerns and prolific changes we are all going through. Along with the daily changes, we understand some of you have made plans to move away, and for those of you staying, have been thinking about your summer plans. So we are writing to you with our deepest apologies to say we are delayed indefinitely with our move. Due to the pandemic, it looks like city bldg informati...on is delayed as well. We are really hoping to get in to our new spot by mid to end of July...but we really don’t know, so we will be in touch with any changes. As of today, we are canceling out the month of July, but will be in touch this week with those of you that already have appointments booked. Hello Rockin’ Locks family! We still miss you!!! We are reaching out again with some new information. We understand phase 2 will start re-opening Monday June 2nd. At this time, we apologize, but we will not be re opening because as we explained in our last e mail, we vacated 240 Kent Ave and will re open about 5 blocks up on Grand st. We have run in to a few delays and don’t have a re-open date as of yet. However, by following state guidelines, we are very excited to re ope...n with a clean slate, sanitized and disinfected. We will follow up with all the new details as soon as we can begin our new renovations...and we are so excited to catch up with you in our new space! FYI...We have vacated 240 Kent Ave due to less then sensitive landlords...but great news, we are staying in the area and moving 5 blocks up on Grand St...more info to follow. During this difficult time for everybody, we are thankful we had a space to build an amazing clientele who have supported our business the last 5 years and would like to say thank you! We appreciate you! We are still not sure when we will be ...up and running again. Depends on when the state allows salons to re open...looks like beginning to mid July! Hi Rockin’ Locks family...We miss you!!! Thanks so much for your patience as we continue to monitor updates from the state and from within the beauty industry regarding Covid-19. The safety and health of Rockin’ Locks and our guests remain our top priority. We will remain temporarily closed until further notice as directed by the NY Department of State. We are currently awaiting further information related to new industry guidelines, restrictions and protocols and are... mapping out sanitation systems to ensure utmost cleanliness and comfort for when we are able to reopen. We appreciate those who have reached out and to those who have supported us during these past few months. Finally, we will not be doing house calls at this time. The best thing you can do for us, is to wait for us! As soon as we know our reopening date and set our new guidelines, we will send another email update and will reach out.
