Today marks the 19th Anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Nearly 20 years later and we still feel depth of loss just like we did that tragic day.... CSEA still feels the gravity of the 2,996 who died that day including the devastating loss of five CSEA members employed by the state Department of Taxation and Finance Yvette Anderson, Florence Cohen, Harry Goody, Marian "Marty" Hrycak and Dorothy Temple. We honor them along with the thousands of public employees who heroically responded and lost their lives just doing their jobs. We also remember those fallen from ground-zero related illnesses which soon may outnumber those lost on that ill-fated day. We will always remember. See more
