We had an unexpected death in the family, and I called Rockland Flowers/Florist (Congers, NY) at 4:35 PM on a Friday afternoon. I was hoping, against hope, tha...t they could accommodate a VERY last minute request (something a far more local florist could not do). I spoke to Perry, the shop owner, and I asked him if he could possibly create a nice memorial piece, at a moderate price point, and have it delivered to a funeral home in Stony Point, NY, by 11:00 AM the next morning. Perry didn't panic when I explained the time constraint; in fact, he said, "Sure, I'll do that for you." At the service the next day, I looked for the arrangement, and I can tell you that what I saw reflected true artistry and a stem count that far exceeded my expectations. The piece was far larger than I expected, and it was opulent, colorful, impressive, and reflected true value for my dollar. If you look at his other pieces on this page, you'll see that Perry is an actual artist whose medium is flowers. He has the ability to think and create unique and very personal pieces that surpass most conventional floral arrangements. His customer service is excellent, and his pricing is more than fair. I've never even met him, but I can confidently recommend him. If you need a floral piece for any occasion -- from the modest to the elaborate -- call Rockland Flowers in Congers, NY. Oh...and just so you realize that I know what I'm talking about, my daughter is an event florist in another part of the state -- so I can be very critical when it comes to arrangements. Ten out of ten stars -- and with Valentine's Day just around the corner, I'd suggest you call him today.
