Meet Jason (@jmripple) co-owner of RPS. He has been in the industry for roughly 17 years now! Hair wasn’t his first path as he attended school for culinary arts, MCC for business and then Continental to pursue his passion of doing hair. He followed in the footsteps of his mother who was finishing up her licensing in cosmetology but was diagnosed and passed from cancer before she was able to fully pursue her career. Jason has worked beside Oscar Bond, Jo Blackwell Preston, Ke...vin Murphy and David Glover to name a few. In 2013 Jason worked backstage under David Glover at NYFW for two weeks. He has extensive training with Goldwell, Lanza, TIGI, simply smooth, kerasilk, Kevin Murphy, Martinsson King, and Babe extensions. My favorite part of my job is blow drying hair and making clients smile while educating them along the way. Stylist spotlight Stryker (@strykerostafew) became licensed in cosmetology in 2014 and has been with us at RPS for 5 years now! If you’ve ever sat in Stryker’s chair, you’ll know that he is a sponge of knowledge. He loves continuing education and his favorite advanced course was the KMS IQ cutting course in LA! My favorite part of what I do is helping another human being take that mental image of what they would like to look like, and making it appear on their head.
