I am so sad to report on the unfortunate passing of one of our Rock Steady Fighters, Mr. Patrick Garvey. Patrick was one of the first to join us at Rock Steady in August of 2016 and had attended 234 classes since then. My favorite line from Mr. Garvey was "I never thought at the age of 82 I'd be picking up gloves" stated with a huge endearing smile. As casual as a relationship as we had, I could never resist calling him "Sir" as I had great respect for his professional, m...ilitary and personal accomplishments.
