Rockville Centre Fire Department

Congratulations to the 2020 teams of the 4th Battalion Fire Department/Rockville Centre Home Tournament last night. Teams from East Rockaway, Lakeview, Lynbrook, Malverne, and Rockville Centre competed against each other at the Rockville Centre Fire Department Competition Arch. Last nights 1st Place Trophy went to the combined team from Rockville Centre’s Woodland and Live Oak Engine Companies, the Wood-Oaks. The 2nd Place Trophy went to the Malverne Fire Department Team, with the 3rd Place Trophy going to Rockville Centre’s Reliance Hose Company.

It is with deep regret that the Chiefs of the Rockville Centre Fire Department along with the Officers and Members of Alert Engine Company No. 2 announce the passing of of Ex-Chief and 51 year member Charles Jaeger. He will be reposing at the Rockville Centre Fire Department Headquarters (58 North Centre Ave) on Tuesday September 8th from 3pm to 8pm, with Fire Department Services at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday September 9th at 9:45 am at St. Agnes Cathedral on Quealy Place in Rockville Centre with Burial to follow at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale. RIP Chief.

Congratulations to the Chiefs and Officers of the RVCFD who were officially installed to their positions by the Mayor of Rockville Centre on April 25th, 2020 . Thank you for keeping us safe!

On Monday night Rockville Centre Fire Department operated on the scene of two reported house fires and a Mutual Aide request to Baldwin as severe weather moved through our area. Among them was a house fire on Vanderveer Court, with Mutual Aide from several neighboring Fire Departments.
