More night work at the shop!

Around the shop! Moving forward on several projects in the shop. Andrew’s GTO project off the frame jig and on the rotisserie, JRVs GTO chassis and tin work about complete and on to welding up the rear end housing! Franks pro street nova chassis and tin work complete and on to the body metal fab and finishing work. Gary’s 57 Chevy project in the shop and taking the body off the frame for sand blasting! Mikes 68 cuda will be here end of the month for a complete rear 1/2 and big tire! Lots more coming! Stay tuned! Ben

Ok, here’s an oldie for ya! Does Anyone have the back story on Ed’s speedshop out of Fulton NY, he was apparently a hotrod shop back as early as the 60,s and 70’s the car was a 57 Chevy 2 dr hardtop and ran C/G I was there when the first car rolled at Fulton Dragway in front of me, landed on its side over the guardrail! That was around 1969! The exact day that drag racing hooked me!! We at the shop are getting ready to recreate this car, updated of course! So I’m looking for any info about Ed and his shop and pictures and any info on the original car! Trying to save another piece of history and get it back to the track!

Shop update! Well it’s been an extremely busy around here still! Racing Judgement Day Funnycar and the Dark Horse Altered is done for the season! We had a few setbacks but gained a bunch of much needed data on both cars! We will make some changes over the winter and get back after it early in the spring! 5 full frame ground up builds underway in the shop as we speak! A 49 Austin on its way to get a complete chassis , tub and big motor over the winter. 68 GTO pro touring, 67 G...TO pro Street, 62 nova Pro Street, 61 Falcon Gasser, 69 Mach I resto, 71 Roadrunner Pro Street ground up, Finishing up Toms Top Sportsman car with a bunch of updates, CNC plasma running everyday now, lots of smaller custom jobs, and adding on more space to the shop! The boys have been working day and night to keep on schedule! 2 more all out race car builds coming soon! Stay tuned! Ben See more

A little burnout with Jim and Ted Daminski’s Street legal Funnycar!

Busy Night in the shop tonight! Me , Troy , Kaleb and Ann at it! Well we got the oil pressure issue handled on Dark Horse! Pulled the front of the motor down and removed the oil pan and found the oil pump hanging, hence no oil pressure ! Locked it back down, pulled the rods And main caps bearings still look brand new! Back together but have a small transmission leak which we will handle tomorrow! Fired it up, small adjustments and put it on the scales and made some chassis ad...justments! It’s ready to rock! Troy and Kaleb worked on assembly on the Judgement Day bullet ! It’s ready to go back in the funnycar tomorrow! With a burnout Stop! Lol! Looks like both cars will be ready to go! Ann made another amazing dinner for all of us tonight! No doubt she’s the best! Thanks babe for making this all possible!(No life without the right wife!) Jeff is coming tomorrow to help us get Judgement Day finished! Can’t say enough about this crew! Whatever it takes there on it! More to come! See more

Around the shop! Mikes GT37 getting delivered today ( ground up restoration) Leo’s lotus 7 in for some head work! Head gone to Whites for repair! Andrews GTO getting a list ready for work when we get back on it in a few weeks. Mikes Mad Max aka Ford Virus got the new frame all built and rubbed and the body mounted getting a 351 C with a blower, one of the most unusual projects we’ve built a frame for, mikes doing all the body metal work himself! Joes Christine project coming ...along, pedals all mounted! Viper V10 installed, floor tunnel fabricated, brake and clutch masters mounted on to the exhaust! Toms T/S lumina getting a bunch of work done, anti roll, updated NHRA spec side cage panels, explosion proof driveshaft tunnel, mounting boxes, Tin work, shocks , antiroll bar etc! Bobs 59 impala getting custom exhaust with cutouts! Judgement day getting a motor put together so we can get back to the track in a couple of weeks! Speedy 35 all done and ready for its trip back to NEw York! New chassis getting started on the jig for Dons 67 GTO gasser project, Franks 62 nova project getting the front sheetmetal finished, new chassis all done! And so the work continues! New projects lined up to come in next month, 2 more complete chassis builds and several other projects waiting for there turn! See more

Another late night in the shop tonight getting the 540 in the Funnycar! Had to make a few changes to get it all in and hooked up but the guys have been working there butts off to make it happen! If all goes well Sunday at ESTA to finish up lic runs ! 2 -1/4 mile passes left ! Dez made dinner at the shop tonight Delmanico Steaks, potatoes casserole , baked Corn on the cob, Steak kabobs, it’s amazing everyone isn’t napping and goes right back to work! Couldn’t have a better team! Ann, Troy, Dez, Kaleb , Jeff, make it all happen! Finishing up tomorrow night then some heat in the pipes! Stay tuned !!
