Wednesday Worker of the Week: Kareem Jones! What is your job title? School Counselor ... How many years have you worked at RCSD? 9 years with Rome (9 years before that with Camden) What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is the staff that I get to work with. They make the job family-like and I enjoy the opportunity to support them. They have the toughest jobs and they perform every day. It's a pleasure to support them and our kids. What inspires you? I'm inspired by my faith in God and those "Aha" moments when a student, parent or family gets what they need emotionally or educationally through something that could do for them. What has been one of your proudest moments working at the RCSD? One of my proudest moments in Rome was when Bellamy was identified as a community school. I enjoy community members and families looking at our school and realizing that we are there to help out and that it goes beyond school involvement. What is a fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is that I am the only male in my household. I have 4 wonderful daughters, a terrific wife and...a female cat named "spooky"! https://www.romecsd.org//wednesday_worker_of_the_week__kar
