Rooster Amy's Frolicking Flock

Our remaining gander has been happy living with his ducks, but he is definitely missing out on having another goose. So we found him a friend! We still would love to get the lake geese back home but in the meantime, our boy has a new friend. She needs to be quarantined to ensure that she does not have any diseases but the two have already been talking to each other from a distance and she laid an egg!

Today is a day of sunshine and introductions! The babies have been out to play in the sun before but the adults could not get near them. Today the babies are enclosed within the larger pen so everyone can safely say hello!
