The early morning attack at the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, shocked the country and propelled America into World War II. The Dec. 7, 1941 attack killed 2,335 Americans and wounded 1,143 more. The U.S. lost 18 ships, including five battleships. A day later, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt described Dec. 7 as a date which will live in infamy.
Thank you to all the families joining us Thursday mornings for Zumbini with Ms.Lauren. It is so much fun!
Thank you to all those patrons who joined us for the Virtual Art class last evening!
Beginning Monday November 23rd, Rose Memorial Library will only be offering Curbside Service to the public until further notice. With this change, we are suspending our popular browsing hours as a result of the Governor's recent expansion of COVID Yellow Zone status to include the Town of Stony Point. For the safety of our patrons and staff, no one will be allowed inside the library at this time. Rose Memorial Library is joining other Rockland County libraries to help reduce COVID transmission. Check the catalog drop down on https://www.rosememoriallibrary.org/ to view available materials/place holds or call 845-786-2100 ext 11. Continue to check our Facebook page for updates.
