Within the walls of Rose Hill lives Matthew Cole's "Children Have the Right to Music", a sprawling panorama depicting the evolution of Manhattan spanning three centuries time. According to the Brooklyn-based artist, "The painting itself began as an interior, but then evolved into a loosely bound open book. I felt this was a more interesting way to express the narrative, and to appropriate the idea of a new beginning.
