Walt Shepperd Legendary Executive Producer of The Media Unit will be sent off in style with an epic retirement party at the Palace Theater tomorrow June 18 2019 from 5:30-7:30pm. The Media Unit Executive Producer Walt Shepperd's well-deserved retirement party will be hosted by musician, City Councilor and Media Unit Alum Joe Driscoll. Media Unit Alum Sean McLeod who is the Founder of The Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival and New York Institute of Dance will perform. Other... Media Unit Alums will speak on memories of Mr. Shepperd. Tickets are a suggested $15 donation, which includes hors d’oeuvres with cash bar available. Walt Shepperd is an Colgate University graduate, writer, journalist, television and stage producer/director, a three-time Writer of the Year for the New York State Press Association. He has received a Lifetime achievement award from the Syracuse Press Club. The community is invited to celebrate his phenomenal career as he retires from the national award-winning company.
