Stuck inside? Warm up your brain with one of our writing prompts. Choose a photo. Spend no more than 15 minutes writing about it. Participants from our monthly Writers' Evening often share their stories during our meeting. It's not mandatory for joining in - just a nice exercise. Join us via Zoom on December 21 at 7p. Email Karen for the link: [email protected]... **Budding and seasoned writers welcome. Share your work and receive feedback from fellow writers.**

The irregularity of the edges and surfaces that have already been marked by use, becomes an essential aspect of the piece. "The newest series is Crushed, which uses egg cartons that I stand on to flatten, then paint and add various elements such as paper clay balls, glitter, thread, stapes, wire, and other found material." Annie Hayes wa...s recently awarded a grant from a NYFA / NYSCA funding program for projects that have been interrupted by COVID-19. The funds will be used for supplies and documentation and we are grateful these funding organizations recognize and support Annie's work.
