How to Survive a Heat Wave in #NYC: 1). Go to #ConeyIsland (if you're there already, bravo); 2). Jump into the Atlantic Ocean (and stay there until your fingers get pruney); 3). Run to RUBY'S BAR & GRILL on the boardwalk (no towel necessary; the air-dry method works great on days like today); 4). Order something cold and refreshing (like a bottle of water, an ice cream cone, an ice cream bar, or a slushie); 5). Come to think of it, you might as well order some food too, like chicken tenders, fried shrimp, waffle fries and mozzarella sticks (after all, splashing around in the ocean burns a ton of calories and you need your strength); 6).
