The most evidence-based use for COVID vaccines is for adults at high risk of serious illness. It's time for an EVIDENCE-BASED approach to COVID that is based on individual risk:benefit analyses on individual cohorts based on the ability of the vaccine to reduce serious illness NOT reduce infection or transmission. There is NO VALID DATA to show the vaccine reduces infection and transmission. Therefore there is NO VALID DATA to show that the vaccinated are of less risk to others than the unvaccinated. Therefore there is NO VALID DATA to support mandatory vaccination or vaccine passports. What kind of society coerces it's children to take an experimental vaccine with no evidence of benefit, some evidence of harm, real potential risk of unknown harms, on the hope it might protect adults? If China or Russia was forcing children to take such a vaccine that the World Health Organization recommended against, what would we in the Western Democracies say? In the 1980s, the drug companies were losing so much money on their vaccine business because of lawsuits on damage caused by their products that they threatened... to stop making vaccines altogether. In order to keep them in business, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, which removed liability from the companies. The result is that vaccines are the only product in the U.S. for which you cannot file a lawsuit if you are harmed. After the passage of this law, the number of vaccines required for children skyrocketed and so has the number of chronically ill children, which has risen from 12% in 1994 to 54% in 2011. Allergies, asthma, autism, childhood diabetes, childhood cancer, learning disabilities these were minimal to non-existent in earlier times, when children could catch wild measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc., be sick for a week, then be healthy for decades. They were not injected with aluminum, formaldehyde, polysorbate 80, or genetically modified insect, animal, and human DNA, etc. all of which toxins are present in childhood vaccines. When Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, they recognized that it negated the economic incentive for pharmaceutical companies to create safe vaccines and to make existing ones safer. They therefore placed the responsibility for vaccine safety directly on the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This section of the Act is literally entitled Mandate for safer childhood vaccines, and requires the HHS Secretary to submit a report to Congress every two years detailing what improvements in vaccine safety were made in the preceding two years. When the Informed Consent Action Network requested any and all of those safety reports, it resulted in a stipulation from the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York that the Dept. of Health & Human Services had no record of having submitted the mandated reports to Congress in the 32 years since the law was passed. This heightens concerns that HHS doesn’t have a clue as to the actual safety profile of the ever-increasing number of vaccines required for children. The 1986 law also set up the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), to which vaccine injuries could be reported, and a Vaccine Court that could award compensation to people injured by vaccines. Despite the fact that by FDA estimate only 1% of vaccine injuries are reported to VAERS, since its creation the Vaccine Court has paid out over four billion dollars for vaccine injuries and deaths Big Pharma spends twice as much money on lobbying and political donations as the next largest donor, Big Oil. This has bought them political cover against those who would counter their propaganda. The major vaccine companies, Merck, Glaxo-Smith-Kline, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Sanofi have paid over 10.3 billion dollars in fines for fraud, failure to disclose safety data, and kickbacks. Yet we are supposed to trust them when they say vaccines are safe and effective. Meanwhile, the current outbreak of whooping cough at Harvard-Westlake has affected 30 students, of whom 100% have been vaccinated. Eighteen students with medical exemptions, who have not been vaccinated, did not catch whooping cough. Multiple outbreaks of measles, mumps, and whooping cough in recent years have occurred in student populations with a very high rate of vaccination, yet the media which gets 70% of its income from pharmaceutical advertising in non-election years blames it on the unvaccinated. Please allow all sides of this issue, and all scientific studies, opinions, and facts, to be heard.
