Those of you who know me must have seen my many Facebook posts over the past 10 years in support of the child parent security act . You may also know that Nina and our dear colleagues Rebecca Mendel and Laurie Goldheim - wrote the bill and we’ve been advocating in support of the bill for the more time than we care to remember . Amazingly - in the midst of these dark times - the bill will finally become the law in the state of New York. We couldn’t be happier. The bill will impact the tens of thousands of New Yorkers who require medical technology to have a child. The bill will transform New York parentage law and finally bring it into the 21st century. All New Yorkers should be thrilled . This bill will positively impact you more than you may know.
