I know that I'm long overdue for an update, and I'm going to start with a heavy heart. Bear with me... I've been fortunate enough to see the GEICO Skytypers Air Show Team perform twice; first at the New York Air Show last July and again last weekend at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach. Regrettably, Executive Officer/Wing Pilot Ken "Ragnar" Johansen lost his life in an accident on Wednesday just miles from Republic Airport where Saturday's air show was staged from. In tribute to Mr. Johansen, I wanted to post a few of my favorite shots of the Geico Skytypers. Thank you for the incredible performances, sir. May you R.I.P.
