Last night we joined numerous Westchester County police, fire, and EMS agencies in spreading some holiday cheer at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Dear residents, we are expecting a significant amount of snow early this afternoon. Please stay off the roads so DPW can do their job and help keep our roads clear. In 2018, there were 2,841 people killed and an estimated 400,000 injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers. Distracted driving is an especially problematic trend among younger drivers. In fact, 8% of drivers 15 to 19 years old involved in fatal crashes were reported as distracted. Earlier today we responded to assist with a multi motor vehicle accident on i-95. Rye FD made quick work of this car fire. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
