This is the 27th time that Alan participated in the Swim Across America. Usually he swims in Long Island Sound but this year it was each person for themselves. So he went back to his roots - to the place he learned to swim and did his first long distance swim - Candlewood Lake. With Tommy paddling a kayak he safely swam to raise money for cancer research. The shirt says it all! It’s not too late to donate, and keep making virtual waves to fight cancer, SAA salutes all of our participants this year for continuing to help us finish the year strong
