From Executive Director of the YMCAand SoM Alum, Rebecca Atwell: "I want you to know how proud I am of the Sage SAAC students who helped to distribute 650 boxe...s of food (30-40lbs each) in less than an hour in Albany last [Sunday] night!! They were incredible. Liam Dowd, Lacrosse, took the lead on a second group distributing which led to the success of such a quick distribution time. Every single student was involved and we were extremely appreciative of their help! We would love to have the students join us again October 23rd and 30th. Based on what we learned yesterday, it would be best for them to arrive at 4:30pm. (260 South Pearl Street) Thank you for all of your efforts!! In total, we distributed 2,000 boxes which was the equivalent of 60,000lbs of food Sunday!!"

TOMORROW NIGHT: October 16th at 7:30pm Est. The Theatre Institute at Sage presents Dear Lil' Dear Lil' is a true story inspired by author Morgan Heyward's time as a theatre major at Russell Sage College. In this one act solo performance, Heyward reflects pivotal moments in her life as she packs her dorm room to leave campus for the last time. Throughout the course of the play, Heyward recounts her experiences being raised in a mixed race household, growing up in a diverse sch...ool district and attending a predominately white college. Dear Lil' defines the process of finding your voice as a young person in a society obsessed with race.
