Teachers Association of Sag Harbor strongly appreciates your support for our schools. The administrative team and BOE has done an excellent job preparing this year's budget. We kindly ask that you come out and vote for Jordana Sobey and Ryan Winter (both are running unopposed) and support this year's budget.

TASH was pleased to be able to support this great cause. The Pierson Chapter of the National Honor Society has partnered with Hampton’s Community Outreach to organize a Diaper Drive. Donations are still being accepted but time is running out. The effort is scheduled to end tomorrow so please consider contributing if you are in the position to be able to do so.

As New York State considers the possibility of additional restrictions, it is more important than ever that we support our local community and its small businesses to help them through this difficult time. To that end, Teachers Association of Sag Harbor has now donated approximately $21,000 in member dues to those in need in the Sag Harbor community while continuing to support local businesses through gift card purchases. We are all in this together.

Math Extra Help Opportunities: - Middle School HW Club is staffed by Mr. Mallia on Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. and most Sundays* from 3-4 p.m. to help students in ...grades 6-8. To access, students should go to meet.google.com and use code homeworkclub. - High School HW Club is staffed by Mr. LaBatti on Thursdays from 3-4 p.m. to help students in grades 9-12. To access, students should go to meet.google.com and use code HSHomeworkClub. - Early Morning Math Help runs from 7:05 to 7:45 a.m. every day with Ms. Truland and Mr. Kinnier, and on A days with Mr. Roode. - Lunch Math Help is available with Ms. Zhu and Mr. LaBatti from 12:08 to 12:48 every day for students in grades 9-12, and with Ms. Kolhoff from 11:25 to 12:05 every day for students in grades 6-8. A few of these sessions have an in person option, but most are being held on Google Meet. * no sessions this weekend or next but continuing thereafter.

Teachers Association of Sag Harbor would like to extend our gratitude to the Board of Education for their dedicated service to the Sag Harbor community and its children. We are especially thankful for the Board's bold and decisive leadership to close in the spring and support for the administration's efforts to open schools as safely as possible this fall. If you see a board member in the community this week, please thank them for stepping up and serving.
