Monsignor Loved his Parish and Loved the Carnival so much.

Saint Luke Carnival, Whitestone 18.10.2020

We regret to inform you that Monsignor Tosi passed away early this morning. His sister and his brother-in-law were at his side. They are grateful for your many prayers and expressions of concern and support during these difficult weeks. Bishop DiMarzio has appointed Father Paul Kim temporary administrator of St. Luke Parish, effective immediately. We give thanks to Almighty God for Monsignor’s dedicated service as pastor of St. Luke for 17 years and as a priest for 47 y...ears. When circumstances allow, we will offer a fitting Memorial Mass for him to which all parishioners will be invited. However, the funeral and burial must be held privately due to current state restrictions on gatherings. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Luke School to establish a scholarship in Monsignor Tosi’s honor. Checks can be made payable to St. Luke School with Monsignor Tosi Scholarship written in the memo. Condolences may be sent to Monsignor’s sister. An address will be forthcoming . Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. See more
