We'll be gathering in-person and also online via Zoom and Facebook Live; join us on Zoom using the following link (password: stgregory): https://zoom.us/j/638502463 Your worship bulletin can be found here: https://e004161d-adb8-49d3-8fff-71cda949ec4f.filesusr.com/ If you're able, you may want to print it out in advance, or follow along on a phone or tablet while viewing the service from a laptop or deskt...op computer. From this morning's readings: "They said, 'Where did this man get all this? What is this wisdom that has been given to him? What deeds of power are being done by his hands! Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon, and are not his sisters here with us?' And they took offense at him."

Today's Pride Sunday sermon, which owes a significant debt to Sophie Strand's "Queer Ecology." Happy Pride! From Strand: "Queerness, it turns out, isn’t a rarity inside ecosystems. It is ubiquitous from flowers to insects to fungi. Queer Ecology 'interrupts' the tired monologue of hegemonic heterosexuality and the sterile fiction that we are, in fact, differentiated from the natural world. What does nature have to teach us about queerness? nature is profoundly, rambunctiously queer."

This week's sermon. "When panic and fear start arising in us, which they inevitably will do, listen for those words: 'Peace. Be still.' Don’t rush headlong into the panic. Be still. Can we find that still point in ourselves, the calm at the eye of the storm? Can we find the place where Jesus is sleeping in our hearts? Admittedly I can’t always get there, but even the reminder that he is there, is sometimes enough to help me make it through."
