Nothing can prepare you for the first few weeks of bringing home a newborn. The emotions and the changes that come to your life is something no one is prepared for; and sometimes the resentment kicks in. Postpartum depression for a father or a non-birthing mother is real and not spoken about enough. We don’t normalize or do enough when considering the non-birthing parent. They too may go through postpartum depression and anxiety just as much as a birth mother. It’s a beauti...ful moment but also has its challenges. Some things to prepare you: having a support person, taking time for yourself, or talking to a professional like a therapist. The first few weeks is about adjusting and getting into your rhythm. Just remember... you’re doing the best and your little one(s) depends on you!

Client had a baby almost a year ago and from holding baby on one side she came in with rounded shoulder and poor range of motion on right shoulder. A few sessions later and some shoulder homework which she did very diligently and dedicate, her shoulder feels better with improved range of motion and less rounded.
