Friends, We are asked to shelter in place to help stop the spread of the virus. This is the time to stay connected, full of hope, praying with our families, get... to the things that we never have time to do, watch a movie, send a joke to someone to brighten their day, read scriptures and stay well. Dear Salam Church Members, community Members, Faith Leaders and Allies, After 23 years of faithful service to God at Salam Church I have accepted a new position... at the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to be the Assistant to the Bishop and the Director of Evangelical Mission. I will be starting my new position on 5/24/2018 and my last Mass at Salam will be next Sunday 5/20/2018. The Mass will be followed with a farewell reception. The Mass will be at 11:15 AM and the reception will be from 12:30 PM to 3 PM in the church gym. I give thanks to God for the many friends I have been able to make in this amazing community.
