Our first official day of AWANA will be this Saturday February 29th! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to bring your friends and family to join us on this new journey of spreading His good message. Can’t wait to see you guys there!!
Kezia Geevarghese I woke up one day feeling like new. I woke up one day feeling grateful. I woke up one day madly in love with my heavenly Father and all that he has done. This is my story of revival and rejuvenation. This is the story of how I found God and how he showed me His purpose in my life. When I was in third grade, I was still clueless about who God was, all I knew was he was this mighty person that I would learn about in my Sunday School class and church sermons... but never really took to heart. I would think of it as a routine, memorizing verses, family prayers, church services, and prayer meetings during the weekends, you know the usual. Then one day I woke up, barely breathing. When I was taken to the hospital, the doctors said that one of my lungs collapsed and if it wasn't for my quick response to arrive at the hospital, I wouldn't have been here today. The discovery of my severe asthma shook my entire family, and I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. I did not understand why my mom would be by my side every night, praying and reading the Bible. I was perplexed, what was so crucial about prayer? Most of my days in the hospital I would just stare at the ceiling. It was quiet and peaceful, and one day I said, why not? I closed my eyes and started praying. Immediately it was like a gush of emotion filled my heart and made it ache and without realizing I started crying. He spoke to me. I felt something inside me boil up, and that day I told myself that I want to know more about what this feeling was, I yearned to be in His presence more. Now here I am today using the same revived lungs and a revived heart to sing praises to his name and worship day by day. I know that the love that shed its blood for me on that cross is the same love he has for me now. If you are struggling in any situation and you feel hopeless saying "There's no way out", remember, God is the way out. His Presence and Power changes Hearts. Be Tenacious to know His Purpose for you. @kezziegxoxo #humansofsalem #May

Neil Koshy Living as a Christain is hard when you don’t have a personal encounter with him. All my life I heard about having a personal relationship with God, however I never really fully grasped this concept of having a personal savior. It was only when I fully understood that my God is not only my Lord and Master, but he is also my brother and friend. I had realized that he cares about my testimony and the struggles that I go through and that he wants to live through the...m by my side. I started to speak to God as my friend and brother while also keeping the same reverence towards a King, as he is still my Master. The uniqueness of the relationship that Jesus offers is far beyond a relationship the world could ever even fathom. We are so undeserving of this unconditional love that regardless of anything that we did or could ever do he still welcomes us back into his arms. Many times I was too afraid to call to God because I knew that I was a sinner and I was ashamed to talk to him, but he wants us to approach his throne with boldness so that he may provide us with the grace that he died for! The very reason Jesus shed his blood for me was for me to put my pride down and call for his mercy and grace and live to his calling. The road is definitely not smooth, there are so many things that I don’t know and I’m not sure of. My future is uncertain and the things that I had planned didn’t go accordingly. But I know the journey God has called me to has an ending where glory and honor goes unto his name and I’m so joyful and happy that I have the privilege to be part of his kingdom. He has blessed me with friends, family members, and mentors that love me and support me through the thick and through the thin. And knowing that God is for me gives me peace beyond all understanding. @neil_24_koshy @life_o_neil #HumansOfSalem #March See more
What makes Jesus radical is the duality of the purpose of his incarnation. He was sent to show how the Father God loves humanity, while also showing humanity how we should love Father God. No other deity perfectly encapsulates this duality. AMAZINGGG WORD FROM @ajohnson_41 Sooo glad to be able to hear from him todayy
