We are here in Salem... waiting for you... If you need prayer, comfort, any need. If you are struggling during this stressful time... we are here to serve, Pastor Herb, Elder Ralph, and our church family. SCFC is under the umbrella of the disaster relief of the Baptist Convention of New England... Brothers and Sisters! Our mission at Salem Community Fellowship Church is to take the Gospel to where it is not. We have been in Salem, NY, for almost 6 years, in association with SBC, BCNE, and NAMB. We recently purchased a permanent home on Main Street (formerly the TD Bank). We seek your partnership to do the work of the Lord. We are asking for prayerful consideration of a donation. If it is on your heart to help us meet these needs and bring the gospel to where it is not, we would be greatly blessed.

A Moment with Sal By Salvatore Princiotto Hold Steady Isaiah 41:10-13... Hold Steady So what does it mean to "hold steady" to God? a verse in the prophecy of Isaiah might help us see that in reality it is , He who holds us as we grab His hand. Isaiah quotes God, who said, "I am the Lord you God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah (41:13) You see, I held tightly to God, and he helped me through my challenges. So what challenges are you facing? Hold steady to God as He "takes hold of your hand and your life. "Do not fear". He will help you! Amen. In verse 10, Isaiah writes, so do not fear, I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help;, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Verse 11). All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be nothing and perish (Verse 12), though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. (Verse 13) For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear' I will help you. Amen. I want to close with this... Isaiah 41:10, begins with a call to courage, "do not fear", but this call isn't an exhortation to "dig deep" and find the grit and determination to keep going. God doesn't call anyone to forge ahead on their own. Instead, the summons is followed with these encouraging words,, "I am with you" verse 10. This phrase is repeated throughout scripture, and is intended to give strengthen and courage. Amen! God said these words to Moses when he was sent back to Egypt to speak to Pharaoh in Exodus 3:12. and Jesus spoke these words to His disciples when he commissioned them to go and to make disciples in Matthew 28:20. Remember, God's dwelling with humanity came in Jesus (Immanuel). He now dwells in believers in Christ through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9), (Ephesians 2:22), and (1 John 4:15 & 16). Amen! So my questions for you today is...what is your biggest challenge, right now? and second, what can you do or say to let God know you trust Him? This is my prayer for you today. Father, in Heaven, life is hard when we try to do it alone, so we need your help. Please come along side us in our greatest challenges and help us to know we are not alone. amen and amen!
