Happy October! Halloween is quickly approaching. As a neighborhood that has many children in it that may be trick or treating, we thought it might be a good idea to ask those participating, (giving out candy) to leave a porch light on so that people know you are participating.

Per National Grid, they are working around the clock to restore power. As of now National Grid does not have a time frame for restoration of power for the Vill...age. They have reported this may be a multi-day restoration effort for some customers. Updates will be posted on their website. https://outagemap.ny.nationalgridus.com/ Please plan accordingly and check on your neighbors’ wellbeing, especially the elderly. Village Hall has power and can charge your electronics if necessary. Near Macy’s at Crossgates Mall, the County is distributing dry ice and bottled water (Friday 10-6, Saturday 9-5) WiFi hotspots are available at the Voorheesville Public Library, Grove Street Pavilion, and Voorheesville High School Parking Lot For a true emergency please call 911.

Please report your outage to national grid. It doesn't look very many people reported the outage. Not sure they know we all don't have power.
