THE LENTEN SEASON IS HERE! We will be open this Ash Wednesday (February 17) from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Thank you to all our regular loyal customers for supporting us this past year and working with us through all of the new guidelines. ... If you are new to us, we are 65 year old family fish fry in North Syracuse, NY. We are open every Thursday 11:00am to 2:00pm and every Friday 11:00am to 8:00pm. We serve fried haddock brought in from Boston daily. We are takeout ONLY. We accept cash ONLY. We do NOT deliver. We do NOT take phone orders. We have a great system in place to serve you fast and efficiently while following all the safety guidelines. We have posted a picture of our menu below and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Hello everyone, we will be closed for the next two weeks due to Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both falling on a Friday. We want to thank all of our Longtime loyal customers and the many new customers We have gained this year. It’s been a challenging year to say the least , but through it all the one thing we could always count on is the positive well wishes that you all have given to us each week. Your support and kindness keeps us motivated and reminds us that we are lucky to be able to continue to operate our family business and be a part of this wonderful community. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday season , and we will be back January 7th 2021!!!

We wanted to share the story of Sal’s Seafoods with everyone. Salvatore Borregine joined the Air Force toward the end of the Korean war. He was the chief mechanic on an A-26 invader bomber, stationed in Okinawa Japan. After returning home he worked with his father who owned and ran Salina Seafoods on Salina street. With encouragement and knowledge he gained from his father, Sal moved to North Syracuse and started Sal’s Seafoods In 1957. Hard work, true sacrifice and determina...tion are a few words to describe what it took Sal to achieve his dreams. 63 years later we are proud to be In the original building and keep the business in the family. We haven’t changed Sal’s vision at all , which was to provide the freshest Haddock, large portions at a value price. We have kept the same family recipes, from our homemade salads to the breading on the haddock . Sal will turn 88 this fall and still lives in North Syracuse where he And his wife raised their children . He still comes in for lunch every Friday ( it’s brought to him during the Covid Situation) We see the phrase New York Tough everywhere now, to us that describes Sal and countless other veterans and seniors Who’s true grit and sacrifice built this country. Hello, we thought we would post the answers to a lot of the messages and calls we have been receiving in regards to how we operate during these trying times and what we offer. We are open Thursday’s 11-2 and Friday’s 11-8. We accept $ CASH only... We don’t take phone orders , To order you can come in the store and we will serve you quickly, we have been doing exclusively takeout for 63 years and we have a great system in place. We have adapted to the new conditions and have ...set up safe distance guidelines along with mask or face coverings a requirement to enter our store. As for the items we carry, a menu will be posted ,but to answer the most frequent questions, we only serve fresh haddock brought in from the Boston fish pier daily along with fresh sea scallops. Our fish sandwich and fries special along with our haddock dinners are available all day long. our coleslaw , macaroni, potato and Italian cabbage salads are a family recipe that are made fresh every week. We appreciate everyone that have supported us and look forward to seeing you soon. See more

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, the warm wishes and positive thoughts we receive from so many of our customers make us feel amazing and proud to be able to provide a little joy in these times. We please ask that a face covering is worn in the store and to continue practicing social distancing . It’s been great to see the courtesy and respect everyone is showing to each other. Good Friday is upon us and we are committed to continually improving our customers experience during these ever changing times. We want to thank our employees for their hard work and commitment to serving the needs of our customers, and a shout out to all our vendors and supply chain who are often short staffed and overworked In these trying times, and thanks to all of our great customers for supporting us, your smiles and well wishes mean everything to us. We wanted to thank all the new customers who came in due to the nice article about us that ran in the Post-Standard on Thursday, and as always we are grateful for our long time loyal customers. The steps we took to help our customers and staff follow the new social guidelines worked out great. Between the floor markings for customer distance and the new plexiglass shields at the 2 registers, everyone did their part in making a smooth transaction to a new way to serve you. Even though the line stretched a long way outside, the average weight to be served was around 7 minutes. We are bless and feel very lucky to be open and look forward to seeing you again this week.

We are constantly monitoring the State and local health department to ensure we are following the proper guidelines. We have always been a take out only business and we are working on new solutions to make the process run even faster and efficient to better serve our great customer base.
