Starting NEXT TUESDAY 6/23, I am available for Waxing and Massage Appointments! Appointments can ONLY be made via text message, not through the online link. Time slots will be limited, so book fast ... Additionally, due to new time constraints and safety mandates, I will only be offering certain services. Waxing: Eyebrow Arm Bikini Half Leg Massage: 30 or 60 minute sessions only Masks are a requirement. You will be asked to text when you arrive and wait in your car until I can come get you. Please understand that CDC and State mandates require some extra precautions. We’re all still learning and will do our best to keep your services as relaxing as they were prior to the shut down. I miss your beautiful faces and can’t wait to see everyone

So I’ve been quiet since the beginning of this pandemic. I truly didn’t know what to say or how to feel, this whole situation still feels so surreal. As many of my regular clients know, I was splitting my time between Magic Mirror Salon Inc and a Medi-Spa in Somers prior to the pandemic. My clients at the Salon are amazing and I was thrilled to hear that we were on our way to opening back up again, with added precautions.... Unfortunately, not only do LMTs and Esthetician’s not have an exact date yet, my time at MMS may be coming to an end. I sublet my space and the owner, Jess, has had to make some decisions that best fit the needs or herself, family and business. Below I will post what she posted on Magic Mirror’s Facebook earlier today. I promise, if we do re-open, I will shout it from the rooftops and continue to serve my loyal clients. If we cannot, I will figure out a way to get you all back to your Massage and Waxing routines. Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this, you’ve all been amazing. Stay healthy and stay strong This is long so bare with me.... I have yet to make a decision with regards to Magic Mirror Salon and the reopening, if at all. I know a lot of you have private messaged me. Just like many of you, my family has undergone many changes during the lockdown. I am also 6 months pregnant and in the middle of unpacking in a new home. The regulations that the governor has set forth, and the size of my shop, puts me in a bad position financially and medically. My overhead will increase, yet my potential income will drop to 1/3 if not a 1/4, and thats based on full clientele returning (which realistically won't happen right away). Just like all of you, I have my family to put first. I will be taking this week to finish unpacking and assess where things stand. Thank you to everyone who has made Magic Mirror a success over the last 16 years, I will update everyone in about a week with the final decision. Xoxo Jessie
