Update on the faulty toy we received from BarkBox that made Cricket sick..... After filing a complaint with Barkbox about the toy we received in our July Super ...Chewer box, that was mislabeled and it made Cricket sick after she ate the pieces of it, I was immediately contacted by Barkbox. They explained they used a new material, made of man-made rubber and wood chips for this particular toy. They also said it was mislabeled as a "super chewer" toy but was really intended for light chewing. They took responsibility and were very helpful. They immediately refunded my money and sent out a box of treats and a new "super chewer" toy. They asked me to send Cricket's vet bill and the vet's office notes. After reviewing them, they reimbursed me the entire amount of the vet bill today. During the last couple of weeks, they called or emailed me several times to check on her and to apologize repeatedly. After their team reviewed everything, they determined in fact the toy was faulty & caused Cricket's problem and determined they would no longer use that material or company again to produce their toys. I have been very impressed with the way they have handled the whole situation. They have been very compassionate, fair and wanted to make sure they did everything possible to ensure Cricket was OK.
