In these troubling times, it’s important to visit local treasures. If you’re looking for a tasty lunch, stop by Paula’s Country Kitchen in Averill Park. Paula makes her own lunch meat and her soups are to die for! Everything she does is a work of art.

This year, with so much angst, negativity, and uncertainty in the world, I felt called to do something good. I’m partnering up with Sand Lake Center for the Art...s to create a holiday food drive to benefit Unity House. Their mission is near to my heart for the many ways they help domestic violence survivors. You can see all of the wonderful things they do at unityhouseny.org. I will be at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts on Monday and Wednesday nights as well as Saturday afternoons from November 9th to December 16th collecting non-perishable food items. Please consider dropping off some food to benefit those less fortunate, especially during the holiday season. Even one can of soup can make a difference. Thank you all for your support and help on this mission of mine.
