..in January of 2011 I spent ten days in Syria traveling with Miguel- Flores Vianna. Two months after we left the country descended into civil war . We saw extraordinary things in Syria, but it was the Syrians who made us fall in love with their beautiful country. I often think of what became of these kind people with great sadness .
