Not for Sandy Bottoms! We have had quite a few guests that had to cancel their out-of-state trips, and decided to stay with us! You can too... We are now booking September & early October!

This historic building, distinguished by its large pillars, has been part of the Sylvan Beach landscape for over 100 years. It was originally Sylvan Beach’s Pos...t Office and General Store. Pancake House is a center point of the beach and popular among tourists and the community. Lynn Rizzo Cifonelli and Dan Cifonelli purchased the building and business in 2016 and gave this iconic eatery a new old look. The Cifonelli’s fully renovated the building while maintaining its old-world charm. A great new menu was created and the restaurant is flourishing! It’s all about Good people, good food and good times! We have given back to a community that has given so much to us. May 26,1887 this building was a home to the Post Office . John H. Meays was the first postmaster. For over 50 years it has been the Pancake House- a Sylvan Beach landmark distinguished by its four iconic columns. Hi there! I’m going to share answers for our most asked questions here on Facebook: We have a 3-night minimum ... The nightly rate is the same all summer long, for all three cottages. (Just ask ) The Sandcastle Duplex is two seperate units. It consists of a main level & upper level (With a staircase that leads to the upper) The Cuckoo Cottage is separate. It’s directly across from the the Sandcastle Duplex All offer 2 bedrooms- a full in one and a bunk bed (Full on bottom, twin on top) in the other The kitchens are all equipped with a stove (range in Cuckoo,) microwave, Keurig, and refrigerator. All pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and silverware are provided. We offer free WiFi, cable TV, and AC Bring your own bedding, linens, pillows, blankets, towels, and wash cloths as these are not provided We have a free on-street parking pass along with a private parking space that accommodates up to three small cars All are equipped with a charcoal grill Picnic tables are outside all cottages for use, along with additional table & chairs No pets/smoking allowed Hope this helps those of you who are considering staying with us. We are working hard to get ready for tomorrow!! OUTDOOR SEATING!! We’ve waited long enough! Doors open at 3pm tomorrow! Friday 12-8 Saturday 12-8... Sunday 12-8

WE ARE NOW OPEN Our goal is to make this another great season and to not have anyone get sick. We ask that you help us make this season as safe as possible for everyone by following the guidelines below: If you are sick/showing COVID symptoms, you need to stay home. ... Due to the extensive sanitization in between rentals: Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Late check-out is unavailable for the time being. All cottages need to be left as clean as when you arrived. That includes dishes, refrigerators, counters, tables, floors, stoves and grills, etc. Your help with this is important and greatly appreciated. Nothing is to be left behind including food and paper products. Please make sure refrigerators/freezers are cleaned out. And your trash and recycling are put into designated cans outside. Please continue to maintain a 6ft distance from others. All restaurants and convenience stores are open and require a mask to be worn. So don’t forget your mask. We have been working hard to make improvements for our guests. We appreciate you and promise to make this year as safe as we can for you and your family! Thank you, John & Mia
