Customer's Question: - How can I make sure the driver can pick up my trash if I have in-driveway/ backdoor service? Sani Pro Says: 1. Make sure your driveway is clear bottom to top and vice versa even at the spot where your driveway meets the street.... 2. Make sure the driveway is plowed to 14 feet wide. Many plows are about 8-9 feet wide. It's a good idea to discuss with your plowing company the width you need. 3. Garbage trucks are not like your car or other delivery trucks. All vehicles have different weights which affects traction and steering. Just because UPS or pizza delivery got up your driveway, doesn't mean we will be able to. WE WANT TO SERVICE YOUR ACCOUNT but we HAVE to be safe. If we can't get up/ down your driveway, please bring your trash to the curb or we will attempt to get it again on your next scheduled collection day. We know it is for you, but it is also inconvenient for us to miss your collection. It causes problems with routing and truck capacity if we have to get your trash on your next pick up day. If you help us we can help you.
