Thanksgiving comes a day late for our birds! Happy late thanksgiving!

We have 14 dozen eggs on the counter, we need them gone! $3 a dozen, eggs are between large and xxl. all different colors.

We have LOTS of eggs. 8 dozen currently available, and we get over a dozen a day! Get yours now before they slow down laying as it gets colder. Message on our page please! Pictured is our first hatch this year, which turned out to be all roosters

Our hens are laying in full force! We are getting over a dozen a day, and we need them GONE! $3 a dozen. Mixed sizes and colors. Eggs from healthy free range hens who get to do their chicken thing all day, everyday. Please message us to reserve yours.

Winter feeding plan time! Here we go: Free feed 18% grower Scoop of corn with mealworms mixed in 2-3 (maybe 4 on those sub zero days) times per day (fall: once per day) Here's how it works: Corn is a slow digesting feed, meaning it will help keep them warmer. When Inthrow it in the morning, it keeps them from rushing the feeder and butting others out. They eat the corn when they are super hungry, so they won't rush the feeder and possibly also choke (since we feed a fine feed).

we are missing this lovely lady. Otulissa passed this year.

Cricket had a very close call with a car two days ago! She was crossing the street (naughty girl!) and she ran under a car going 60 mph. She made and out but her tail feathers got caught and she got spun around a few times. She's fine, but lacking tail. Very scary!

Chickens doing ok, we lost a few to predators so they are now in a run during the part of the day when the predators are bad. Evie is on some eggs, so that's exciting!

42 of our 46 are in the coop tonight. The others are in the small coop. Unfortunately the black chick Smokey had went missing. And we have one with bumble foot who’s also in there.
