The Sarah Lawrence Dance Program gladly presents Disappearing Altogether. This is a live performance available for in-person audience and virtual audience via Zoom live-stream. We are excited to announce that in-person attendance will be available; however, due to safety precautions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah Lawrence College is unable to accommodate visitors from the general public to campus at this time. As a result, in-person attendance at the performance ...is only available to residential and commuter students adhering to the College's COVID-19 testing program as well as members of the faculty and staff currently cleared to be on campus. Members of the general public as well as any non-residential or non-commuting students may participate in this event virtually via livestream on Zoom. Registration for both the in-person event on May 4th and for the Zoom live stream is required. Please register for in-person and virtual tickets accordingly. For audience members attending remotely, a link will be forwarded to you via email on the day of the event. The link to register is in our bio. In tandem with the performance of Disappearing Altogether, students following this project via remote instruction have created Disappearing Altogether (Another World Version), a media work which can be viewed asynchronously in tandem with the live event.Disappearing Altogether (Another World Version) will be posted online and available through the sarahlawrence.edu website, mySLC, and linktr.ee/SLCDANCE (link in our bio) starting on May 4. Disappearing Altogether and Disappearing Altogether (Another World Version) were created with students in the Dance Program during the Spring 2021 semester in collaboration with visiting guest artist Mina Nishimura. This project was made possible through the generous support of the Edith Cowles Poor Family International Dance Fund.
