Honoring my Sensei while l'm teaching at home during the Covid-19 quarintine l've shifted my dojos kanji aikido scroll and my big photo of O' Sensei to my home dojo. In it's place, while we all wait for the "ok" to resume our new normal life. I've placed Faust Sensei's picture l received as a gift from Albany Aikido for teaching a class at Sensei Faust Celebration Seminar last November. The scroll in this photo is also a gift from one of my students. It was brought back from China for my dojo and reads, "Good Fortune". Couldn't be more appropriate for the times we're all living in! Saratoga Aikido dojo is slowly seeing the light at the end the tunnel. The first phase of re-opening parts of Upstate NY commerce is a reality. I'm feeling hopeful we'll make it to phase 3 sooner than later, when gym's and martial arts studio's will be able to re- open. JA Sensei
