What is the post float glow? Over the years and across the whole floating industry many users haver referred to how they feel after the float as the post float glow. There is no exact answer as to why many feel this way post float but at Requiescent we can best describe this feeling through the old adage "you don't know what you've got until it's gone". Hey everyone Eric here, back on May 1st 2014 Requiescent float center opened it's doors for the first time. Now 6 years later we are still here, not the way we'd like to be given the current circumstance but we are here nonetheless. Over the years many people have asked me why I started this business and there is no good answer because I'm still discovering that for myself. But one thing I know for sure is that every person on this planet is special and different and everyone... has a story. Everyday there are millions of things thrown at us that distract us from our story or make us compare our story to someone elses. We don't spend near enough time with ourselves and if anything else that's what the float tank is designed to do. It's designed to put you and your story front and center. Your story minus your cell phone, minus your aches and pains, minus what your eyes are seeing, minus what your ears are hearing, it's just you and what your thinking. We all need a place to go to reflect and if you've chosen Requiescent to do just that, thank you and I hope when this lockdown is over and you find the need to isolate again you will choose us. Greetings Everyone, In an effort to do our part and protect our customers from possible exposure to the COVID-19 VIRUS we will closing the float shop at the end of business today until Saturday March 21st. Our plan now is to be open for the weekend but that as well could change. It's been a tough call for us because it is our belief that is completely SAFE to float in the tanks even during an outbreak. We never have many people in the space at the same time, we sanitize the t...anks after every use, and our filtration system is built for virus grade contaminant. However, we understand now the real concern is community spread and we find its best to just close temporarily. We will re asses the situation this weekend and keep you all informed on any changes.
