Looking like a good year for hops! Harvest is underway!
Harvest is going great! So far we have fuggle, perle, and willamette finished and packaged! working though the cascades now, they smell amazing!!! Newports to follow. Here is a pic of the end of a 6lb bale of cascade.

This little hop plants came out today to wish everyone a very unseasonable warm Merry Christmas

Harvest has come to an end for us. It was a very busy time, but the wonderful smell of hops that overtook the farm when we constantly had all of out oasts full was great! Hop samples went out for testing today, and we will have fresh hops with guaranteed analysis for sale shortly!
Very excited for our new harvester! Picked a few perle and willamette's yesterday to try it out. Picked what would have taken 3 people 3 hours in about 30 minutes with only 2 people! Great aroma coming from the hop house as they dried through the night. The big batch will be cascades again this year, starting those in a few days!
Cascades are looking great! Should be ready in a couple weeks! Last year these tested at 8.6 alpha at the end of the month, but this year looks to be a little earlier. Let us know if you are interested in any, these sell out fast!
