Had a good weekend in Connecticut at a pretty sweet new complex with 11 or 12 fields, electronic scoreboards, and good atmosphere. We head into our last tournament averaging 1 home run a game? And only 1 loss on elimination days all summer. Our last ride together, hopefully we hit some more of these! @brennajahn got 3! @meghouk4 went oppo @sroko17 got her first of the summer a 3 run game winner to dead center, and @maryssasano hit the first ever buzzer beater walk off dinger I’ve ever seen. Congrats girls!

One of the originals, @rileysullivan18 is entering her senior year, spinning the heck out of it and smashing oppo gap doubles every weekend. She’s uncommitted and ready to make some noise this week in Colorado. Let’s do this kid!

Our leadoff hitter @sroko17 has played in the state tournament each of the last 2 seasons, won a Nationals or 2, and is a true 5 tool prospect. She’s played in big games, she can impact those games from any angle, and she’s fun as hell to coach because of the depth of things she can do on the diamond. I think her power speed combo can help a Program in year 1, but her hard work and attention to details makes her an outstanding practice player, which is all some programs ask of their freshman. Our 3 hitter, and annual team leader in all important categories to winning on offense (ba with risp, 2 strike ba, 2 out rbis, pitches per plate appearance, on base percentage, slugging, home runs, walk off hits at nationals) is out to make a name for herself next week in Colorado. @alyssanicole144 is a 2020 outfielder that is uncommitted and is ready to help any lineup I don’t care what level, her feel for hitting is unmatched I’d put her against anybody. #shock #2020 #outfielder #softball #recruiting

Our catcher @abbyyycampbell has worked her butt off to get to this point. Summer of her junior year, crushing extra base hits, calling her own game, and being a baller on the field. @brendenharris_22 crushing it for his new squad down at a perfect game qualifier, think he was like 10 for 16 @derek.bender did his thing down at PG national underclass @reilly_hall crushing it in the perfect game collegiate league @cubner1 helped his team to the state title game with a lot of timely hitting and a bomb during the playoffs, and @anthony1698 still smashing balls in a wood bat collegiate league. Been a heck of year boys let’s finish this thing off right with a lot more of this down the stretch!

My girl @maryssasano crushed this 3 run bomb, which stood up the entire game as we won 4-2 in the chip. Ryss tore her ACL at this same venue I think in September, so it was only fitting she closed the show here for us in our last go round at the Rock, which has been a great host to our teams over the years. Congrats kid, proud of you!

Can’t forget our 16U @infinityshocksoftball girls gettin ready for playoff softball as @maryssasano for her first 2 tanks of the year last week, @meghouk4 got her I think 7th out of the park on the year, and @abbyyycampbell showing off a clean path for a triple. I think @sroko17 got one out dead center too but her dad thinks it’s bad luck to video her at bats now so we’ll just imagine. @alyssanicole144 also got one out coming back from injury. Keep the barrels coming girls gonna have to score to keep playing the next 2 weeks mine as well be the one to do it!

It’s playoff time around here, when you want your swing to be right, your head to be clear and be able to just compete. Let it all hang out boys! Few sick swings from the last week as the regular season ended, we got @cubner1 going deep again, musta really liked it the first time I guess. Then we got @derek.bender bat flipping singles (launch angle swing can’t hit that high heater man) as he finished over .500 for the spring as did Ubner. Next up is Tyler Cannoe who sent me this after 4 days prior telling me his broke his wrist and his season was over so I guess he’s ok now? And to finish up it’s @nickmarola who got 2 of these center crush balls, which is starting to be a thing regularly now.
