PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST Puppy Naming Contest!! SUGGESTION ROUND!!... **PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT SUGGESTIONS ON THIS POST OR INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS** All suggestions must be submitted as explained below. We have some adorable puppies in foster care and they will be needing names! So we are turning to our wonderful, animal loving community to help us name these cuties! So starting today, December 4th, for a $1 donation per name, we are asking for name suggestions for each puppy! At the end of the week(December 11th) shelter staff will pick their favorite 3 names for each puppy and then a voting round will begin to determine a name for each puppy! Voting will be done through PayPal: sawf2020 (please be sure to hit the Friends & Family option so we received the whole donation) and Venmo: ittybittykitty81 Please use the note section to list the name you would like to suggest. PLEASE NOTE: We are still open by APPOINTMENT ONLY with an APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, you may apply on our website, saugertiesanimalshelter.com. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee any puppy’s availability at any time. We will not be allowing claims or holds on any puppy prior to adoption appointments. Please be sure to read all information on our website, social media pages and in any emails you receive from us, as almost all FAQs can be answered in that material. **These are super mutts! Meaning we have no idea what breed/mix they are or how big they will get.**
I saw this and thought it you would like it: T'was a month before Christmas, And all through the town, People wore masks,... That covered their frown. The frown had begun Way back in the Spring, When a global pandemic Changed everything. They called it corona, But unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, It didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, Travel was banned. Borders were closed Across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown To flatten the curve, The economy halted, And folks lost their nerve. From March to July We rode the first wave, People stayed home, They tried to behave. When summer emerged The lockdown was lifted. But away from caution, Many folks drifted. Now it’s November And cases are spiking, Wave two has arrived, Much to our disliking. It’s true that this year Has had sadness a plenty, We’ll never forget The year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, But why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house And put up the tree, Who will see it, No one but me. But outside my window The snow gently falls, And I think to myself, Let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland and bows, As I play those old carols, My happiness grows. Christmas is not cancelled And neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope. Wishing everyone the merriest Christmas of all time!!! Keep it going! (Copy & paste)
