We still got some 1/4s looking for a home on our may 1st butcher date. $2.50 a pound hanging plus processing. We managed to get rye in all of our corn acres and sorghum sudan grass acres this fall. We do this to help with erosion from both wind and rain. To help capture nutrients from manure. It also helps with water absorption and by having a living plants, the microbes are much happier. Just doing what we can to better care for the land! Some of the rye will get ploughed down as green manure, harvested as forage and some will get combined for seed

Grazing some stock piled grass. Guessing 13 ac split into 6 paddocks will last 28 animals 18 days. Planning to supliment some cornsilage to make the grass last longer

Mowing some ss grass. Better than i thought it was. Chopped a load this morning. Very impressed with the 900, we had to take the spout extention off. We are ready to roll tomorrow.
