Despite not being able to memorialize today in person as we have in the past, all of us at SAVAC recognize and remember those who lost their lives on this day 19 years ago. Especially those first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country #neverforget

We are incredibly grateful to the Oswego City Fire Department for their donation of PPE to our organization!

We know that masks may be uncomfortable, but they help stop the spread. That saves lives! Keep yourself and others #SAVACSafe and show off some #PPEPositivity by wearing that mask proudly!

Classes may be online, but we still want everyone to be #SAVACSafe Practice these safety tips no matter where you you may be and become a COVID-19 hero today! First responders, healthcare workers, and your loved ones will thank you!

Today’s special shoutout goes to @emilyfrasier8. Emily is a sophomore at SUNY Oswego and has been in SAVAC since her freshman year and took the EMT class last semester! Emily is also SAVACs current medical captain. Emily we thank you for everything you have done for SAVAC since you joined and are grateful for what you will do in the future! We are very proud that you are starting out working as an EMT during these scary times. Stay #savacsafe

Today we would like to send a special shout out to or member @chrisfrein who is a senior this year! Chris joined SAVC his freshman year and has been in many roles in SAVAC including Chief of operations. We thank Chris for all his hard work and help that he put into SAVAC and for all the hard work he is putting in now during this pandemic! You make SAVAC proud to have you as a member keep up the good work and stay #savacsafe @ S.A.V.A.C.

We are proud to see our member @george_frontino continuing to help people in need even with all that’s going on with COVID-19. Stay #savacsafe and thank you to everyone who is risking their health to help others!

With all that’s going on in the world SAVAC is happy to say that our very own member @jlawlor29 helped a man in need while on vacation several weeks ago. SAVAC was unaware of this heroic action until the man he helped reached out on Facebook to find him! Thank you John for all that you do for SAVAC and for anyone you can help. You have made SAVAC proud!

Want to protect yourself against Coronavirus? The CDC and SAVAC say you need to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Especially after going to the bathroom, blowing your nose, or coughing and sneezing! This simple tip can help you and the rest of campus be #SAVACSafe
