June Camping Tip 2 - Sleep Systems While the idea of sleeping under the stars sounds downright romantic..it can be pretty miserable if you're not prepared! Typically referred to as a "system," your sleeping gear should have there components. 1- a sleeping pad 2- a sleeping bag and 3- a pillow. Before you purchase, borrow, or pack for an overnight adventure consider the following.. *Sleeping pad - look for compact, light weight styles for easy transport and a size proportiona...te to your body to ensure separation from the ground. *Sleeping bag - Also look for compact, light weight styles and a size proportionate to your body. Select the right temperarure rating for the surrounding environs and materials.
