Stay vigilantthis is a really bad one. It was only a matter of time, but hopefully they do not spread quickly and we can find some answers.
Be aware of incompatible chemicals or spraying some pesticides during extreme temperatures. The following combinations of fungicides or plant protectants can c...ause serious vine injury when applied to vines at the same time or within 14 days of each other: Horticultural oils (i.e. JMS Stylet Oil) with sulfur Horticultural oils (i.e. Stylet Oil) with Captan Seven XLR (insecticide) with Captan. In this example we are not sure what was sprayed but it looks like Captan burn injury. This could be because it was too hot when they sprayed or that it was mixed with an incompatible product. Another great find by Lianna (although not as cute)! Orange slime mold is caused by a complex of fungi and yeast, none of which are pathogens. The combination... of wet soil conditions and late pruning can lead to copious amounts of sap bleeding from the pruning wounds, which combined with warm weather creates the ideal conditions to support heavy Orange Slime growth. https://blogs.cornell.edu///23/return-of-the-orange-slime/
