Waldfest is German for fun! We had a great time at the 44th annual Waldfest at the Spring Garden park! Over 4,000 people attend the largest German festival in Western New York each year. If you missed it, be sure to join our table for the 45th on July 19, 2020!

The Scalp & Blade Scholarship Trust Committee was honored to present our 161st and 162nd scholarships to Eric Scalise of Grand Island High School and Jarrett Wolf of Springville Griffith Institute. Each young man will receive a $10,000 grant dispersed over four years to use at their own discretion while attending college. Mr. Scalise will attend Hofstra University. Mr. Wolf will attend the University at Buffalo Since 1929, Scalp & Blade has awarded over $380,000 to deserving public high school graduates from Buffalo and Erie County. The scholarship’s purpose was and is to foster and support individual men who have achieved academic excellence, exhibited leadership qualities and possess sound moral judgment as they continue through collegiate life.

We were honored to have Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn as our distinguished speaker at our annual St. Patrick's dinner last night. Mr. Flynn overseas and office of 90 attorneys handling over 30,000 cases each year.
