It's getting very hot out if you haven't put your sprinklers on you should and if you have a little extra watering will benefit your lawn.

It's a very sad day for Scenic Sculptor today our trailer was broken in to and our equipment was stolen.

Winter reminder dont forget to detach your garden hose so it dosen't freeze and to turn of the outside water.

Here's another picture of poison ivy growing in other vines be wary.You should also wear protection full sleeves and gloves to prevent open skin areas coming in contact with leaves and the vine itself.

In an effort to bring people an awareness of poison ivy /poison oak we will be posting pictures periodically of these plants that we come across in gardens. They can grow in beds as well as lawns,cracks etc..

If your outside with this extreme heat make sure to stay hydrated.

End of Season Well here we are. Another fantastic season of landscaping has come to an end. Where does the time go? So the end of October brings us to the end of our regular maintenance schedule. We usually wait a couple of weeks and begin our fall clean-ups. As always if you need something done in our "off" season please feel free to call, we are around and will come out to help with whatever you may need. Don't forget all those last minute fall chores. Give the lawn one las...t really big watering, store hoses, shut off outside water spigots, drain sprinkler lines, get that last fertilizer application in before November 15th, rake the leaves, clean the gutters, and order your bulbs to be planted now for that early spring color ugh and the list goes on. Fall Clean-Ups The end of the landscaping season is upon us and now is the time to schedule your Fall Clean-Up. This is the last chance for your lawn to get some professional TLC. A final cut, removing all the fallen leaves, getting at those flower beds one more time, and any other additional attention your yard needs. We normally start our clean-ups mid November to let as many leaves as possible to fall. But remember if you ever need anything even during the winter we are around. So if you decide you need another mowing, some fallen branches removed, or any other chore. We are here to help so don't hesitate to call and schedule what you need.

Rake Those Leaves Cooler temperatures and windy conditions make for messy lawns. While you could wait until all the leaves are down it is best to rake them up a little at a time. This makes a huge job more manageable and prevents the lawn and beds getting all jammed up with detritus. Also waiting too long you risk frost and snow locking those leaves in place and that will be a big mess come spring. So rake those leaves. If you don't want to do it call us.
