COMING SOON TO THE SUNYJCC SCHARMANN THEATER: Pump Boys and Dinettes April 24th-May 3rd, 2020 ... Jim- Austin Schapp LM- Andrew Delcamp Jackson- Adam Hughes Eddie- Vince Joy Prudie- Julie Fofana Rhetta- Teal Weatherley "Pump Boys and Dinettes" is a country-western, good-natured and good-humored good time! This interactive musical is presented in a "blackbox-style" setting with the audience seated onstage, with a unique seating arrangement including diner booths and auto seats (as well as regular chairs). Jim and LM (short for "Ladies Man") run a gas station and auto repair with the help of their buddies Jackson and Eddie. Next door you'll find the Double Cupp Diner, run by sisters Prudie and Rhetta Cupp. As you take your seat onstage at the Scharmann Theatre, you'll be in the world of the Pump Boys and Dinettes, somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, North Carolina. The next 90 minutes are packed with lively, funny and even touching tunes, reflecting on life in a small town where time sometimes stands still. You might even be lucky enough to get a slice of the best pie in North Carolina, or have a fresh cup of coffee- "it's a Highway 57 paradise!" Tickets go On-Sale March 16 #SUNYJCC #UNCOMMONERS #PUMPBOYSandDINETTES custom logo and artwork created by Gary Robert Peters Jr
