Lauren came thru this weekend and helped me get some pics of the two calves going to the Blue Ribbon sale. The 1st is Schilldale Rick-P Flair-Red. A polled Bacon-Hill Rick-P-Red daughter born 12-1. The 2nd is Schilldale Ratatouille-Red. She is a Farnear Altitude-Red daughter born 9-1.

Full IVF sisters by Goldwyn from Buttercup. Born six years apart with the younger being 12 years after the original Goldwyns from Buttercup. On the right is Lauren's Schilldale Gold Bronwyn VG -87 and on the left is Buttecup's last daughter Schilldale Buttertwist.

They say that dairy farming is a passion of love, and when it came to Marshmallow there was no shortage of love for her. We regret to announce that we had to lay Marshmallow away this morning due to complications post calving. She was almost 10 years old, 3E-94, 95 in her mammary. She gave an incredible 209,347 lbs lifetime production. We are so thankful to have been able to be a part of her life and her legacy will live on through her daughters and in our hearts as we have never been so proud of her.

Schilldale Holsteins had an incredible day today at the Eastern New York Holstein Show! Although we only brought 3 cows, they did fantastic. Starting with Mousse, she was 1st senior 3 year old and Intermediate champion of the junior show and Reserve Intermediate champion of the open show as well as honorable mention of the open show grand champion. Beauty was the 1st aged cow, Senior champion, Grand champion and Best Bred and Owned of the open show. Marshmallow was the 1st 12...5,000 lb cow, Senior champion and Grand champion of the junior show and Reserve Senior champion and Reserve Grand Champion of the open show as well! We also had 1st place Produce of Dam with Mousse and Muffin out of Marshmallow, and 1st place Dam and Daughter with Marshmallow and Mousse, and 1st place Best Three Females with Mousse, Beauty and Marshmallow! We are very pleased to announce that Marshmallow is now 3E-94, EX-95 mammary at 9 years old! She has a life time production record of over 200,000 pounds in 6 lactations!

Schillinwood Manifold Marshmallow, EX-94 pictured as a 150,000 lb cow. She is our second cow to achieve EX-94, and we hope that Mousse and her other daughter's will follow in her and Buttercup's legacy.

Schillinwood Brigham Mousse, EX-91 pictured as a senior 3 year old. We've had an exciting year showing Mousse and we can't wait to watch her grow and progress! Mousse is a 8th generation home bred cow, tracing back to the very first Schilldale cow, Schilldale Leadman Pretzel, VG-88. One of Mousse's granddam's being Schilldale Durham Buttercup, our first EX-94 cow.

We are very excited to announce that Schilldale Super Beauty is now EX-93 with a 95 point mammary system! Beauty has had 6 calves and has made over 160,00lbs! Along with Beauty, Schillinwood Brigham Mousse is now EX-91 as a senior 3 year old! Look for Mousse at the New York State Fair and both Mousse and Beauty at the Big E this year!
